Kristen Miller
Welcome! My name is Mrs. Miller. I am a Sacramento-area native who went to Rio Americano High School, graduating class of 1998. Directly after high school, I went to the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC) for three years, then transferred to the University of California, Berkeley (UCB) for an additional two years. I graduated from both universities in consecutive years and ended up with a Bachelor of the Arts degree (BA) in Economics from UCSC and a Bachelor of the Sciences (BS) degree in Civil Engineering emphasis Structural Engineering from UCB. After graduating from UCB in 2003, I worked in the engineering field for a few years, and ultimately realized how much I wanted to teach. I went back to school at Chapman University for a teaching credential, taught the first three years at Inderkum High School in the Natomas Unified School District and have been teaching at Natomas Charter School Performing and Fine Arts Academy ever since. Below is a list of ways to contact me should you have questions that come up throughout the semester (e-mail is the best way to contact me). I look forward to a great year!
