Kristen Miller

Welcome!  My name is Mrs. Miller.  I am a Sacramento-area native who went to Rio Americano High School, graduating class of 1998. Directly after high school, I went to the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC) for three years, then transferred to the University of California, Berkeley (UCB) for an additional two years.  I graduated from both universities in consecutive years and ended up with a Bachelor of the Arts degree (BA) in Economics from UCSD and a Bachelor of the Sciences (BS) degree in Civil Engineering emphasis Structural Engineering from UCB.  After graduating from UCB in 2003, I worked in the engineering field for a few years, and ultimately realized how much I wanted to teach.  I went back to school at Chapman University for a teaching credential, and taught the first three years at Inderkum High School in the Natomas Unified School District.  I am thrilled to be entering my fourth year of teaching at Natomas Charter School Performing and Fine Arts Academy.  Below is a list of ways to contact me should you have questions that come up throughout the semester (e-mail is the best way to contact me).  If you have not e-mailed me before, you will most likely get an e-mail back stating that a SPAM filter prevented your e-mail from being sent.  I will be able to retrieve your e-mail from my SPAM filter and e-mail you back ASAP.  Because of this delay, however, please allow 1-2 days for a response.  I look forward to a great year!
