OFF CAMPUS COURSE POLICY FOR THE PERFORMING AND FINE ARTS ACADEMY

In general, students are required to take all courses for graduation credit through the the Performing and Fine Arts Academy.  Students may not take academic courses outside of the academy in order to pursue taking additional electives. Students of the Performing and Fine Arts Academy may request permission to take courses for graduation credit outside of the Performing and Fine Arts Academy under the following conditions:

1. The course requested is not offered at the Performing and Fine Arts Academy.

2. The course requested is only offered as a single section and conflicts with another course offered that is also only a single section (i.e. Modern III and French III).

Students meeting the above criteria may complete an Administrative Waiver request form (available in the NCS front office) and submit for administrative approval.  Administrative approval must be granted before a student can receive credit for the course.
